2/1/2015Philip, You nailed it. My parents moved here from Jacksonville in 1992. I hated it then but quickly fell in love with the peace and serenity. If I want CHAOS, It's a short drive back to jax. I have also been a real estate agent in the area since 2000. I have met a wealth of wonderfully diverse people. There are a majority of white folks, yes. I am from a mixed race family and we have had no trouble, ever. In fact, we have always been welcome in the community and have been able to build several successful businesses here with the help and support of the community. Our children were born and have grown up here and have never had to suffer any racial hate or the like. While visiting up north, Detroit etc this has been a problem. I am glad we made Middleburg our home and thankful to our friends, neighbors and community. I hope you continue to find peace and happiness here for many years to come!
