Appleton, WI
safe, welcoming, good for kids -
3/9/2011I've lived in Appleton for 10 years. I have raised 3 children to adulthood, and they attended great public schools, and always had safe and fun activities to do outside of school.
I'm also gay, and my partner and I are comfortable being out everywhere in Appleton, and have many gay friends here, lots of supportive people and families.
There is a small private college in town, and great coffee shops and nightlife. Traffic is never a problem. Parking is cheap. What can I say? Except for the snow, this is a great place to live!
