Seattle, WA

If you want sun, TONS of vitamin D energy from the sun I would recommend Florida. After all, it is called the sunshine state for a reason. Now I must remind you, it is very humid there, so bad in the summer your car windows get fogged at night if you do not have your windows down, you can just feel the stickyness on your hands from the thick air, it can be harder to breathe at first, but after about a year you would get used to it. Me personally, I am very active and do not mind humid weather since I have always been in the south, yet of course a change would be nice somewhere out west! Anyways, I would avoid northern florida except the st. augustine area because it is kind of artsy, and a good place to have a family. The rest of northern florida can be too southern for my taste, and not very classy. Go down to tampa, clearwater, ft. lauderdale, or even a smaller city that isn't as expensive as living directly by water. As for the weather, may-september is is very hot, like 90 plus and humid. To make up for the harsh summers, the winter is so comfortable! October-january can be like in the 70's. I totally understand what you mean by not having energy without sun, it gets me so down I just want to sleep, Feel weak and just blah. I have been all over the east coast and could tell you which cities/states are better to live in depending if you just want to chill, settle down, raise a family, just party or whatever suits your interests. Me personally, I want to go out west where there are mind summers just to experience something different, but hey everyone wants a change! Let me know if you want any other suggestions, I have tons of questions about the portland area if you have been down that way. I am wondering if portland would be better, and less cloudy than seattle

Charlotte, NC

City Of Charlotte, the big banking industry - 6/8/2013
If you ask me, Charlotte can be the best or the worse place to live. Everyone has different expectations, hobbies, and outlooks on life. As far as nice people, I feel that Charlotte lacks that by all means. There are way too many people that live here, so traffic is absolutely horrible. Public transportation is there, but expect it to be very dirty, also not organized. Also the cost of living is somewhat high for the south, but I guess it could be much worse. There is night life, but just bars. If you do not drink, do not expect to like charlotte. For the younger crowd, not too much for entertainment around here. Me personally, I would much rather be in florida, or out west somewhere other than here.
