2/25/2009Maybe you couldn't get a decent job because you are unable to spell, i.e., "trippled" and "boaring". I have lived in MO before and while it's not perfect, I found the people to be much like they are everywhere. Personally, I find Chicago to be very expensive and the weather is miserable. As for things to do, well I'm a mom and I prefer family times/outings, so the big city isn't necessarily panacea for me. So I guess to each his own. Good luck in your new life, sounds like you are happy now.

2/25/2009Really like it here--lived in HHI before (WAY too expensive). Small town feel but with big city right across the river. Does have some of that small-town gossip going on, but if you can ignore it and rise above, you'll love it here.
