12/16/2017I don't think what you would prefer exists anymore. I also have looked for it. I surf the internet all the time looking at facts, figures and opinions. You can always find a place that can beat Meridian ID on one or two things but not everything as in a total package. My priorities are cost of living (especially housing), crime and weather. So far Meridian ID is the best package I have found. P.S. My searches have covered the country, and I have also lived in many places from CA to FL, from WA to TX to MI.

1/3/2015California is abbreviated as CA (according to the US Post Office, or Calif.) Cali is a city in the South American country of Colombia. Now please get back to American English, the unofficial language of our country. All this abbreviating 'slang' is destroying our native tongue.

Small town living by the big city -
5/23/2013No income tax in WA. No sales tax in OR. Portland, OR offers all the culture one could seek plus great restaurants. It is a great walking city and weather is quite moderate.
