7/1/2009You aren't nuts. This is especially the case if you are moving from Surprise. Wy has exceptional funds for education (look at all the brand new schools). Almost no crime (Compared to AZ), a very friendly population and an economy the envy of the nation.
We used to live in Jackson, Wy (subsequent to that in AZ )(and then have moved to Sheridan (Jackson has been Californicated-the billionaires are kicking out the millionaires).
There is the little matter of the cold climate, but you'll get used to it
