Great Community -
10/28/2008I have lived in Folsom for 20+ years and can tell you it is extremely well rounded with major employers, shopping, recreation, good schools, art/culture, historic district and more. Location is exceptional in that you are just over an hour away from Lake Tahoe or Reno, and in the opposite direction 1.5 hours to Napa Valley or San Francisco. It can get hot in the summer (95) and winters are very mild. The only down side is that housing can be a little more costly than most of the surrounding suburbs. Overall a great place to live!
