6/6/2013You should probably get your facts straight if you want to make a point. Democrats opposed desegregation. Completely opposed it (ever hear of the dixie-crats). That’s right; the southern racists that opposed desegregation were in fact democrats. It’s why MLK, even though he opposed every single republican policy except one, was in fact a republican. I would recommend doing about 5 seconds of research before you write something so completely wrong or at least not mention your political affiliation as you undermine your entire cause as at best you look ignorant or at worst a blatant liar.

6/6/2013The area has its upside, but the traffic and the overall rudiness of everyone here is enough for me to leave. I've never lived anywhere where if you are polite enough to let someone into your lane when driving, the car behind you will always honk like a mad person and probably shoot you the finger. Happens every time.
Plus the area I live in is a nice area, but the people think that because they live there they are above everyone else. Everywhere you go here people talk down to everyone else, and always try and work in their neighborhood in conversation, as if it somehow makes them better. Hate to break it to you Alexandria, the community is not that exclusive, after all I live there (but I'm moving out!!!)
