| 8/20/2004 | parent | This is a remarkable school (should be nationally known). These are village kids-mostly Indian and Eskimo- including 'social referrals' from youth agencies. Focus is on the Pacific Rim (my two kids have taken Japanese and Chinese languages). The school does so well on AYP testing that little room is left for improvement. Now the school is to be expanded to provide an alternative to all the failing village schools-could affect quality. My major complaint has been the theft of my children's clothes- but even this problem has been solved! Our oldest says college was easy after Mt. Edgecombe. |
