| 1/27/2011 | parent | The K-1 grade teachers are great. The 2nd grade teacher should teach older students. The power struggle and name-calling from an adult to a struggling child is not necessary. Fortunately the 3rd grade teacher knows this is a problem and managed to bring my child out of the funk. The 4th grade teacher is by far the most caring teacher I've ever met. While I recommend some of the teachers, a school is only as good as it's worst teacher. Therefore, my recommendation is to attend public schools in Edwardsville. If you really want the Catholic education and what's best for your child, attend PSR classes. |
| 2/24/2007 | parent | St. Boniface School is a K-8 school. All four of my childrenhave or do attend this school. The academic program is one of great excellence. The test scores for our school are phenominal! The teacher to student ratio is great...lots of one on on time. I find this school to be very family oriented. Parents have many opportunities to be involved; coaching, helping with band, volunteering in the classrooms, helping in the art education program just to name a few. Band is available in 4-8 grades. 3rd graders learn to play a recorder as an introduction. If your looking for the best for your child, THIS IS IT! |
| 5/30/2006 | teacher | A+ St. Boniface Preschool provides the best first school experience that you could wish for for your child. They have 4 classes total. 2 classes are on MWF - these are the Pre-K classes for children 4yrs. by sept 1st. They also have 2 classes on Tuesday-Thursday for children 3 yrs. old by Sept. 1st and potty trained. Morning and afternoon classes are available for both the Mon-Wed-Fri sessions and the Tues.-Thurs. sessions. Most children from the Tues.-Thurs. sessions continue on the next year in the Mon-Wed-Fri sessions so it is best to sign up when your child is ready for the Tues.Thurs. session (3 yrs. by Sept 1st and potty trained). |
| 4/19/2006 | parent | My child will be 4. I was looking for a preschool and my neighbor suggested this one. Her children attended this school for preschool only. The preschool is 4 days a week for 4 hours. It is a learning environment! Not a daycare. Word of caution, if you are interested, enquire early. I asked about enrollment for the following school year on April 17. Both classes were full with wait-lists for each. |
