| 8/27/2010 | parent | I have 3 children and a niece that go to NLOE and I love the school. I grew up in the Live Oak School system and the teachers are just as caring as they were 20 years ago when I was there. The most important thing to the teachers and staff truely is the students and that makes this a great school. |
| 1/11/2008 | parent | My son attended NLO the first year it opened and now my daughter is in kindergarten and I couldn't be more pleased. She went from not knowing how to read at all to reading four letter words in just two and a half months. All of the students are very polite when I visit (not just the kindergarten class) and very well behaved, that is something you do not see in Baton Rouge schools at all. |
| 3/10/2007 | parent | This school is wonderful. This is my son's second year at NLOE and I have been very pleased with his progress. The teachers don't tolerate any misbehavior and I have had no problems with anyone bullying my son. He has an adequate amount of homework and I really feel he is learning. I feel he is in a safe and healthy environment at NLOE. |
