| 5/24/2006 | staff | If a parent has a complaint they should follow the proper channel of command. It does not seem very Christian to blast Trinity in this manner. The children that leave Trinity are very well prepared for High School. The school is not perfect, but a loving, caring, Christian environment is very important here. I thank God for this school and the academic instruction received here. |

They have the ability to channel the child's energies towards academic without making it the only purpose in the student's life. The teachers focus on the individual child's needs helping them to grow, not only in academics but most importantly their Life with Christ. The whole staff,church & school, know the children and the feeling is that of a large caring family. There are alot of volunteeer jobs and the parents get it done but could use more help from more parents. Trinity offers an outstanding music program, and a sports program that doesn't promote 'to win at all cost'. I've had experiences with all of the schools in our small community of Reese and we have chosen Trinity, a Great place for our children to Grow in Christ and community. |
| 5/22/2006 | parent | We sent our children to Trinity Lutheran School. Was the place perfect? Nope. Were my kids perfect? Nope. Was I the perfect parent? Nope. But this school taught me and my kids about forgiveness through Christ. The effort was always made by many to be loving, inclusive, and congenial. As far as the curriculum at this school, my kids were challenged to do their best and to try everything at least once. They went on to high school better prepared than most kids. Now when I hear the language and see the behavior many elementary students use in public places, I am so grateful I had a place to send my children forty hours or more each week where high standards were set where my children were corrected when they misbehaved or broke rules. I thank God daily that Trinity was there for our family! |
| 5/20/2006 | parent | I attended this school as a youth and was very excited about sending my own children here; however, the longer my children attended this school, the more problems that developed. I determined that my children not only were not getting a quality education, but the religious aspects that were the main reason I chose this school were not being taught. My children are now in the public school and our excelling, but before you think that Trinity is the reason for this I must tell you that a spent a lot of money on tutors to catch my children up because of the fundamentals that they were lacking. I also have found that the teachers in the public schools are more caring and concerned about my children than the ones at Trinity. I would not recommend this school to anyone! |
