| 8/14/2012 | parent | My son goes to this school, and there are a handful of teachers that are really good. Most of them are older and they only care about one thing their paycheck. The principal that just left the school was not a good principal, he never addressed the parents and if you had a problem he would not return your call or email. As far as the Vice Principals there are way too many, they have one female, I called on 3 different occassions and never recieved a call back. I know how they get these jobs it is all politics, but come on, they should atleast have to do the job once they get it. I can not wait until my son graduates and we are out of this school. |

My parents were both immigrants and were new to the college experience with respect to applications, essays, etc., OBHS did not properly prepare juniors for the prep that goes into getting college ready. |

After four years at Old Bridge H.S. and having been accepted to my top three schools (Cornell, UPenn, and Hopkins) I can honestly say that the demand and rigor of the Honors and AP courses prepared me for the college classes that I am now taking at Cornell. |

I find if you are looking for special eduaction its a good HS , otherwise they have low test scores and have been a school in need for several years now. Im not a fan of the the 12 period schedule , there is less learning time , especially when the class dont settle down for 10 min. I have a freshman who I am transferring out to private school. |
| 12/4/2008 | parent | OBHS is a great school. My daughter is now a senior and my son is a freshman. As far as the academics go, my children are both doing well. I know my daughter will be ready for college in Sept. My son is taking honors classes and is being challenged and is also doing well. As far as the extracurricular activities go...there are many. My daughter has joined over 10 clubs and is kept busy volunteering. My son, though, because he is involved in sports doesn't have much time to join clubs. All in all a great school with so much to offer. |

| 9/20/2008 | student | the other reviews are from a while back, but I currently attend obhs and I love it. we are way more school spirited than before. the building is huge, and we now have a different building for the freshmen because of the growing student population. there are various clubs, and I am looking forward to another great year at old bridge. |
| 11/30/2007 | parent | My son is a freshman at OBHS and after coming from all honors classes in CSMS, I have no complaints. The teachers are competent and care about their students. There are many activities for students to be involved in. I guess it depends on the crowd, as it would with any school, but we have had no experience with any drugs. I look forward to my son and then daughter getting a good education from obhs, and going on to college. |
| 9/9/2005 | student | The courses offerd are of a wide range and the teachers are competent. They have great extracurricular activities for the students to join. There is one for everyone ... music club, art club, FBLA, gaming club ... and if u dont find any which u like.. you can start your own club. Level of parent involvement is very low. And lastly i would like to say a few things about the 'NEW' east campus. The new wing is well made, it has WIDER hallways, brighter lights and better classrooms. However, it lacks stairways. Students who have 2 back to back classes in the new wing have to travel around the world to get to thier class. The new wing has wider hallways, but this dosent make the old one wider. The integration of the campuses was a good one for the administration but not for the students. |

My son is more involved in school than my daughter, but both have had positive experiences in high school. We are looking forward to getting back to one campus in September. |
| 8/22/2005 | parent | I have a daughter who went to OBHS and I have two sons there now. I don't think that my kids have been challenged enough. They try to get by with the smallest amount of work, and they seem to get away with it. I think that grades are very inflated, and I'm not talking about honors classes, either. One of my kids is always talking about college but I don't think that he is going to be ready for college work. A lot of that is his lack of work, but the teachers aren't demanding his best work either. The teachers are all very nice people and I bet they know their subjects. They don't seem to challenge enough. |

They had some good training at OBHS. My wife and I were and still are very involved in the present and future of the school. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement, but I also believe that the parents hold a large share of the responsibility. |
| 2/1/2005 | former student | I went to school here from 1993 - 1996 and I was often asked to try drugs and if I did not comply, rumors were spread about me that I had AIDS. I'm still in counseling for this. One big complaint is they never made use out of the planetarium. We'd go there about 2 times a year, if that. I enjoyed the cafeteria, that is, when I wasn't getting beat up for not doing drugs. |
| 10/4/2004 | parent | Old Bridge High School needs to have two principals as one cannot handle both east and west campuses which are located in two different parts of town. Security, bullying are issues (among other things) that are at the high school. Board of Education is stagnant with ideas and needs to be changed. |
