| 8/13/2012 | parent | Although rated Excellent. The school district is facing SERIOUS financial problems - taken over by State. They seem to have misspent millions of dollars. They are weak on course work for advanced students. Barely support Post Secondary Program. The High School administration appear to be non-friendly to parent involvement. |
| 10/20/2009 | parent | Monroe is not a good experience for student or parent. Nobody cares about the students and everything is about politics, your child gets lost in the mix and the rest of the school is too snooty to care. |
| 11/29/2008 | student | I like the school ok some things could change for convenience of the students. but overall a good public school choice. Good discipline allows safety for all students |
| 3/15/2008 | parent | Good School in General. As other parent mentions small size allows kids to participate in extra curricular activities (opposed to all big 2,000+ Pupils that are closest to area). Decent Sports program, great new facilities. Academically needs better support from District as it is just average My kids came from Out of State from a High Ranked national school where AP and advance placements are Amazing! But here their options are limited and they seem to cruise in with much less efforts to get As. Advisor departments lack the experience to indentify and evaluate incoming Students strengths, relaying only on previous Satate testings! Dull.. Small school does not have an Orchestra? Do have a Band as make emphasis to support the Football squad more than the Arts aspects. Overall Great environment, Safe, Parent involvement is good but all emphasis on Sports!! Needs to improve academical efforts from the District and support stafiing |
| 6/19/2007 | parent | Highest value school in the area. The small size means you kids can participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. Parents are highly involved. |
