| 5/12/2006 | parent | I am very satisfied with PJHS. My son has learning disability with speech disability. The faculty & administration has been very supportive. The sports & arts programs are accessible to everyone. The special ed. dept. is great. I would recommend this school to anyone. |
| 1/10/2006 | parent | Piqua Jr. High School is great! My daughter is in the Builders Club, Youth for Justice Club, National Jr. Honor Society, the Aladdin Play, and also a wrestling manager. There is always an activity a child can get involved in to keep their brains working, learn social skills, keep them out of trouble while keeping them motivated, and also help fight for a good cause. My daughter has helped raise money for Katrina Victims and helped stock a local food pantry for the Salvation Army this year. She has experienced all these wonderful things while attending the Piqua Jr. High School. Parent involvement is high...come to a music performance and try to find a seat! Academic programs has helped my daughter read at a 12th grade level and she is in the 8th grade. AR reading program keeps their imagination growing and their reading level. Thank you, Jennifer |
