| 12/9/2011 | other | Billy Lee Sr. you should be so very proud of your son. I nearly mistook him as you, has your features but not quote your smirk. Everything happens for a reason!! Tabbatha |
| 10/4/2010 | parent | This is my son's 1st year at SJHS and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES it ! He enjoys learning here and participates in all areas and is part of the JROTC family which is SUPER ! The teachers appear to be caring and the NEW Principle appears to be VERY on top of the latest issues. Whats so great is getting the Automated Phone Calls with the updates and reminders of the schools happening ! So far, fingers crossed, this school is working out wonderfully ! I hope it remains this way ! GREAT JOB SJHS, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK ! It's paying off ! |
| 8/5/2009 | student | I go there its not that great... IT depends if your smart then its easy but if your normal they are mean, and its not a fun schoo,l |
| 3/12/2009 | student | The school is great. The break after first block, 10 minutes, is a great way for you to be able to not go through four blocks of class and be completely tired afterwards. The teachers don't give homework because we work hard while we are there. There is an excellent number of classes that you could take to be challenged. The website is also extremely helpful when trying to figure out when a game is, if it hasn't been anounced in the mornings. It has a list of the activities so you would be able to get involved if you wanted. The time between each class is a perfect amount of time to get from one class to another, 5 minutes. I am still having the best time of my life there. And I cannot wait to finish my high school carrer and graduate. |
| 6/5/2008 | student | This is a great school to go to. I had the best time of my life there. Teachers are really nice and they care about their students and we had so many activities...It is a safe school, also. I loved it. |
| 2/13/2008 | parent | I am pretty discouraged with this school. The work is so easy it's pathetic. Never any homework...zero challenge to the kids. |
| 12/30/2007 | other | The school administration-- and school district-- are more interested in image than in genuine teaching. Needless to say students do not feel particularly safe or comfortable. Safety and discipline are not taken seriously here. |
| 3/19/2007 | parent | This school was highly recommended, so I am disappointed to say, it's not as good as it should be. While the school says they encourage parental participation in the students future, they don't. Don't get me wrong. There are a handful of great teachers and administrators, but for the most part the teachers need to learn respect for their students. I had requested a game schedule, and halfway through the season, I still don't have one. The school does have some great programs, if you are lucky enough to find out about them, but there is a definite lack of communication with parents. |
| 5/18/2005 | former student | The quality of the academic programs are highly successful. The sports and otheer extracurricular activities are very good. Many students are involved. The level of parental involvement on a scale from one to five, i would say is about a four. The parents are very concerned about their child's education. |
