9/30/2012parentHoly Rosary offers students an amazing academic and spiritual foundation that you will not find in any public school setting! When the youngest of my 4 children graduates from HRCS I can proudly say I will have had 21 years of experience as a room parent and prior to that I taught 2 years at HRCS and 5 years in public school. I realized HRCS offered something unique when I walked through the doors my first day of teaching and after my first year as a teacher I knew my own children would attend HRCS! That decision was made 23 years ago and with no regrets! Years later the decision was validated when my oldest children entered public high school. Many teachers commented how they loved HRCS students in their classroom because they were well prepared, worked hard, were disciplined students, and were not afraid to participate in class. The school provides a solid academic foundation without the stress of teaching to any test , study skill opportunities, great work ethics, leadership skills, and athletic opportunities all while supporting the Catholic values and morals most Catholic families try to teach at home! HRCS is a wonderful gem in our community!
9/17/2012otherHowdy! I am a 2005 graduate of Holy Rosary and I am extremely proud to say so. I attended HRCS for 8 years, from Kinder to 8th grade and I believe it is the reason I have been successful through high school and college. The teachers are outstanding and the curriculum puts you well above a high school level upon graduation from HRCS. I graduated in the top 11% of my high school and I am about to graduate from Texas A&M University. I was overly prepared for high school academically, and wonderfully prepared for life as a young Catholic. I would suggest this school to anyone who asked and I cannot wait to return with my children one day!
9/17/2012otherI graduated from Holy Rosary in 2002 after attending HRCS for 10 years. I am incredibly thankful to my parents for giving me the opportunity to attend HRCS. I was able to receive more one- on-one time in class, participate in several sports, have a leadership position in Student Council, sing in choir, and so much more. I did all of this while forming life long friendships with other students who shared the same moral values and beliefs as I did. We were able to learn more about our faith, grow in our faith, and share our faith. After HRCS, I attended High School and graduated 7th in my class from a 4A High School. My High School teachers always told me that they love HRCS students because they are so well behaved and are usually ahead academically. HRCS taught me discipline and time management. This helped me in High School and also in college at Texas A&M. I graduated from A&M in 3.5 years, and I attribute my success to my 10 years at HRCS. I recommend this school to anyone, and I plan to send my children there one day.
9/17/2012parentMy son attends Holy Rosary Catholic School and is currently in the elementary school (4th grade). He has had an excellent education thus far. The teacher's are willing to help, and bend over backwards for all students if the parents are willing to listen and go that extra mile as well. I know many students who have graduated from HRS, high school and college. All ot them have gone on to be successful adults. That is why I chose to send my child there.
9/17/2012otherI think Holy Rosary not only prepares its students for the classroom but also , more importantly, for life. Not only do they provide small classes with teachers who truly care about each student and their success in the classroom, they take time to get to know each family. Because it is a small school, many of the teachers teach multiple siblings so the faculty and staff end up becoming apart of the family. Personally, I graduated in the top 2% of my high school class and was able to graduate with a BS in Biology with honors in just 3 years. Holy Rosary not only contributed to my success in the classroom, but I also believe the values I learned there helped attribute to my aspirations of becoming a physician's assistant so that I can help others. I am very thankful for my education at Holy Rosary and couldn't imagine growing up in any other community. I couldn't imagine sending my own children to any other school.
9/2/2011parentThis school provides an education that is well below the public school requirements. Being Catholic, I was ashamed to tell people that I sent my children to Holy Rosary. They are in need of many changes!
6/25/2011parentIt's an excellent school with outstanding teachers, staff, students and majority of parents! Have you EVER seen students writing essays in the Kindergarten or the highest number of HRS gradutes entering best high schools of Sugar Land and Houston? This school provides it all, plus the highly recognized academics and moral values. As a parent, I prefer this small professional environment for my child. Keep up a great job, HRS!
