| 4/4/2005 | parent | Scottsburg Elementary School in Halifax County School District isn't the worst school I have ever delt with. I've seen at least 65% of the teachers very concerned about their students. There are some teachers that I wonder how they keep their jobs. I'm not sure if it's the teacher that's not putting enough effort or if it is the schools problem in not supplying enough learning materials for the children at Scottsburg Elementary. They extremely LACK having the learning text books that our children should have in their daily classes. It worries me becuase learning the fundimentals is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! The music program is lacking. However, it is not the music teachers fault. It is the lack of music time in school. They do many fund raisers for 'EXTRA' things that should come AFTER necessary things (example: English and Spelling Text Books). |
