Geographically, Tampa is known for its beautiful beaches like Clearwater Beach and St. Pete Beach, which draw both tourists and locals. The city itself is surrounded by water, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and Tampa Bay on the other. This gives residents lots of options for water activities.
