Living in Demopolis... - 10/1/2008
I came from a small friendly town, and lived in metropolitan areas most of my adult life. I am a people person, and so are my little ones.
We moved to Demopolis, Al. in June of this year. I have been greatly disappointed in the courtesy shown by the majority of business associates. A very unfriendly town in my opinion. In fact, I can name two places that have great associates; Ed's Auto Sales, Mr. Hugh Edwards- owner, and Mrs. Mary Pickel. Both are very sweet and friendly. The mechanics and employees who work for Mr. Edwards are just as sweet and friendly. The PHARMACY dept. at Food World however, NOT the associates in the general store dept. The Wal-Mart Super-center needs a major employee overhaul. I go to one cashier, and that is the sweet lady that works in the Garden Center. The gentleman hospitality through the Garden Center is also sweet. Every business and resturant I have given my business to has been very poor in courtesy and friendliness.
