Great Place to Live - 9/26/2010
I raised my five children in Helena, Al 27 yrs ago when it was just one road and a few neighborhoods. Everytime I drive thru AL,I take the small detour thru Helena. It has become overpopulated in the last 10 yrs, yet offers everything a family would need. The best place to eat is just down the road-Fox Creek Restaurant. Great schools! I moved to Helena from Florida. Although I miss Florida, Helena is a nice little town to live in except for rush hour traffic. Life is very quiet in Helena and we have an almost non-existant crime rate. There is enough business in Helena for the necessities of life.
