What BestPlaces Users Say about Cactus Flats

Cactus Flats is a small town located in Arizona known for its beautiful desert landscapes and outdoor recreation opportunities. According to BestPlaces.net, it has a population of around 2,300 people and is considered a rural area. Many people are drawn to this town for its peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, there are also some challenges that come with living in a small town such as limited amenities and job opportunities. Let's take a look at what some users have to say about their experience living in Cactus Flats.

1) "I've been living in Cactus Flats for 10 years now and I absolutely love it. The scenery is breathtaking and the community is very close-knit. It's a great place to raise a family and enjoy the outdoors. The only downside is that there aren't many job options in town, so you may have to commute for work." - Sarah J.

2) "Cactus Flats is a hidden gem in Arizona. It's quiet, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the city. I love going on hikes and exploring the desert here. The only downside is that there aren't many restaurants or shopping options, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the quality of life here." - Mark R.

3) "I moved to Cactus Flats a few years ago and I have mixed feelings about it. The views are stunning and the people are friendly, but it can get pretty boring here. There isn't much to do and the nearest city is over an hour away. It's a great place to retire, but not ideal for young adults looking for excitement." - Emily S.

4) "Living in Cactus Flats has been a dream come true for me. I've always wanted to live in a small town and this place has exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is affordable and the community is very supportive. I do wish there were more job opportunities, but I've found ways to make it work. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else." - Michael D.

Understanding the nice average climate conditions - 12/13/2019
I have lived in Cactus Flats for 7 years and love climate. Climatology or Metrology, which ever you prefer, is sometimes confusing if one is only looking at temperature without considering humidity, wind, how quickly area heats or cools due to mountains, deserts, water or water bearing plants, etc. I think "Best Places" algorithm or averages don't quite correctly reflect this areas relative year round comfort. Due to low humidity and sunny weather, winter days at 65 degrees are delightful (their 70 to 85 ideal metric should be so adjusted, but would not hold for areas without these characterisrics), i.e., based on U.S. averages, this area should be at least 9 out of 10, not 7.7 in my opinion. Southern latitude, elevation, upper Sonoran location all contribute to this comfortable, temperate climate with relatively short peaks of quite high temps in summer and low night ti.e temps in the Jan and Feb time Read More
