Wind, wind, and more wind... For MONTHS. - 7/10/2016
I noticed when I was choosing the city that Cottonwood is on the list twice. This is Cottonwood Arizona with the zip code of 86326. It's not the greatest place to live. Per capita, the meth problem and the crime rate is horrible in comparison to Phoenix, it's worse here. Next, the wind blows hard and constantly from around late February clear through June sometimes into July. And then of course you have the triple-digit heat. Oh, but it's a dry heat. I have lived here since 1960 and if I could choose, I would definitely move someplace else. Every single year for months on end I hide in the house because it's so windy outside it's miserable. I have severe allergies and the wind makes those works also. You have to live somewhere where there's neighborhood watch and even with that, chances are good that you'll be vandalized
