Alarming Changes - 6/1/2007
Peoria is one of many communities that make up Maricopa County, AZ (which, by the way is larger than the State of NJ). The "Valley" is growing so fast it is being referred to as "LA East". Housing, industries (light/heavy) are growing uncontrolled, public transportation is lagging, commercial plus commute transportation is taking it's toll, (causing) poor air quality (see the AZ Republic (daily)), medical staff suffering, many services playing catch-up, 'n the population is exploding. Electric power is 'questionnable and so are the water resources ... and yet the population is encouraged to grow. The infratructure need tax $$'s. Also ... it's Hotter'n H--L here (see 'electric' power above)seven months of the year.

Bad drivers and nutjobs aplenty - 5/31/2007
There are quite a few horrible drivers in Peoria. Apparently, no one knows how to use their turn signal. I was also road raged on Memorial Day. The woman was nuts. She threatened to break my finger! Whew! Someone needs some shock therapy! I have only lived here since November and I was already road raged, but I guess it's an improvement considering I was road raged in Chandler after only 2 weeks, so I guess things are looking up.

Peoria is all over the place. I can't figure out sometimes whether I'm in Peoria or Glendale. Glendale by the way, is gross. You got the Arrowhead Mall and that's about it. It starts looking mighty crusty from 60th Ave on down.

The nightlife is pretty bleak. Not much to do here. There's a roller skating rink or two. And I think I saw a bowling alley. AZ just sucks. There is no culture here or fun places to go. And everyone hates one another. So many nasty people, and they get nastier every year. No one is FROM AZ, they're all from Read More

Climate of West Metro Phoenix - 4/20/2006
All the of the Phoenix Metro area is basically the same as far as climate. The winters are mild, but the low humidity can make it feel pretty cold when it is only 40 degrees. The summers, which last from May through September, sometimes October, are really Read More

Peoria, Arizona - 8/17/2005
Full of old people who drive really slow. A normal 5 minute drive will take on average 2-2.5 hours. People also drive like maniacs, every time you drive you have a 95% chance of being cut off, side swiped, or rear ended. Don't be surprised to see someone drive into the side of someones house and later, act like it's the homeowners fault for him drivinging into the Read More
