Very active arts community for its size: chamber orchestra, string quartets, galleries. Community band, community chorus. Nice hotels with great entertainment. Lovely natural surroundings. Great recreation: swimming, boating, fishing, large lakes, national park, crystal mines, theme park with great rides and water park. Good place for new age and metaphysical studies, yoga, bathhouses with great massages. Educational opportunities: nice community college, adequate public schools, a number of private schools of music, dance, martial arts, etc. Shopping: 2 chain book stores, 1 metaphysical book store, classes in esoteric subjects like astrology, Buddism, psychic skills, etc., Nice mall with 3 dept. stores and several restaurants, many shops.
