Great place to retire - 2/14/2010
Huntsville is a good place to raise your children, crime rates are low, schools are ok. But if you have to work there is just nothing there. You have to commute to the Springdale,Fayetteville area which is 30-45 minutes away and then the wages still aren't good. There are only two plants in town, good luck! Huntsville is a great place to live for anyone who works at home or is retired. It's convenient to Fayetteville,AR, for when you want a night out on the town and it's convenient to Buffalo National River for a summertime swim in the afternoon. Cost of living is low, including property taxes, but if your looking at driving to an actual job, then plan on 30-45 minutes to Fayetteville or Springdale
