Beautiful peaceful mountain town - 9/29/2022
I love this beautiful mountain city. Beautiful scenery. Small town. It is surrounded by crystal mines and gem mines. It is up and coming. There is a stage with bluegrass and local events. There are new businesses popping up left and right in town. I heard of a new business called The Rockhound Cafe downtown Mount Ida that is going to be amazing. And don’t forget to do a dig at Wegner crystal mine.

Mount Ida is small with not a lot to do unless you attend church or like water sports. The chiggers and ticks are to unbearable enjoy the outdoors. The weather in late spring through early fall is hot and humid, bad storms with destroying winds and hail. There are a few weeks mid spring and late fall that are doable. Winter is cold and icy. The town its self is unkept. Most of the people seem so unhappy. A thank you from employees in any of the establishments you shop in will take you by suprise. The medical care is the worst, not equipped for emergencies. If considering relocating here
