What it's like to live in Pottsville and Russellvi - 4/26/2007
Pottsville, Arkansas is a quiet, friendly little town with history and excellent schools. The people are friendly down-home country folk. They just built a new Jr High and High School. My own children attend the Elementary and I'd be hard-pressed to try to find a better one in Arkansas.
There are lots of nice houses available for rent or sale. It is pretty cheap to live here, compared to other areas of Arkansas. For example, we are about 1 1/2 miles from the elementary school and our newer (2004) three bedroom brick home with a two car garage rents for $650 a month.
Pottsville is close to Russellville where there are several good restaurants and places to shop. They are in the process of putting in an IHOP and a Starbucks. I have personally attended ATU and it is an excellent University. It has a huge campus and they are constantly adding new buildings and new fields of study. The staff there are friendly and helpful.
