Outdoor Paradise; Angry, Stifled People - 8/25/2020
Beautiful surroundings, but it’s a small town and if they don’t like you, they will be exclusionary. A lot of passive aggressiveness and suppressed anger, especially among the people born here. Having suppressed anger and having to live in a place where can be excluded socially and economically, creates a lot of anger. Lots of meth in Bishop. Lots of drinking. Lots of frustration. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful area in all the world, and if you love that and can support yourself, you’ll be fine.
