Before moving out of BP it was nearly a living nightmare. The teens of working class citizens would turn to the gang life and wreak havoc throughout the San Gabriel Valley. My neighbor was shot at by some rascal in a Volkswagen Rabbit one time and I even saw a Nissan 240 get bashed by some teens. I’m pretty sure Baldwin Park was voted the dirtiest city in the SGV at one point. Welp, they ain’t lying! Thank god my aunt doesn’t experience all that gang violence anymore, it’s died down the past 20 years or so. On the bright side, Baldwin Park is home of the original In N Out and In N Out University...that’s about it.
