Home of Big Ballers! - 2/1/2021
I love Chino Hills! You can’t mention Chino Hills without the Ball Family! They make me proud to be a resident of Chino Hills! They put the city on the map! My boys love playing basketball thanks to them. Since I mentioned Lonzo having a 4.0 GPA in high school they hit the textbooks hard as well. Great culture here backed by The Big Baller Brand and the people. It’s amazing here, great weather, safe living, you definitely get what you pay for.

I love Chino Hills! You can’t mention Chino Hills without the Ball Family! They make me proud to be a resident of Chino Hills! They put the city on the map! Mixed bag - 3/2/2010
First, the positives: the location is great -- a reasonable drive to anything you want (major metropolitan centers, mountains, beaches, deserts); we have lots of parks, restaurants, and shops right here in town; it's very family-oriented and ethnically diverse; it's safe (lived here five years and have no problem taking a stroll after dark if the whimsy strikes). And, of course, for about three-and-a-half weeks out of the year (end of February to middle of March), it's heaven on earth: while much of the country is buried in snow, we're enjoying mid-70's temperatures, and loving the views of those gorgeous green hillsides under our vibrant SoCal skies.
And then, unfortunately, the little bit of annual rainfall ends. The hills dry up to their plain, ugly beige, the sunshine becomes too warm for far too long (summer means week after week of 95+ temperatures, often lasting well into October), and Chino Hills is once again just one more too-crowded, overpriced L.A. suburb,

A beautiful place to live - 6/30/2009
If you have to live and work in Southern California, this is a great place to live! It is peaceful and beautiful. There is shopping, dining, great theaters, everything you need. The hills are beautiful; we live in a housing tract but it doesn't seem like it, because the house backs up to the hills. We see cows, coyotes, rabbits... yes, lizards get in the house and we've killed a rattler in the backyard, but that is nice country

I was raised in Chino and I have lived here all of my life....way before the hills area became a city and before the 60 Freeway was cut into the valley. I live and work in Chino Hills and love it here! It's rural and quiet atmosphere and rolling hills has made it one of the most desirable cities in the Inland Empire. Many Orange County residents have moved here because of the lower home prices and it's convenient location in San Bernardino County at the border of Orange, LA and Riverside Counties. I have seen a lot of growth and development over the years which has made what I consider a small town into a city, but it has not lost its small town atmosphere. McCoy's Equestrian Center is always busy with activities, the many parks and horse trails are continually bustling with residents and the pride of ownership of the many thousands of homes makes it clear that the people that live here, love it

Chino Hills is no longer what it used to be - 11/27/2006
I have been a resident of Chino Hills for over 20 years. Although it is very beautiful and the weather is great, the changes over the last 5-10 years, I feel have ruined what the city used to live for. Chino Hills used to be a small rural community where everyone knew each other and housing was affordable. Now, it is overcrowded and the housing is way overpriced. Shopping centers and houses have taken over what used to be cornfields and rolling hills that had views going on for miles. The newcomers are pushing out the old and the children you once saw playing in the parks and streets are no longer around. Chino Hills does have many community activities and recreational sports, but the charm has been taken away. I do love this city, I call it home, however I wish the drastic changes that have been over the past few years would have never taken

Sheep, rolling hills, new schools, great neighbors - 5/13/2005
Chino Hills is a wonderful way to live in CA. As you drive through the city of rolling green hills, you will see clean wide streets and families everywhere. Take a walk down by our duck park, or walk on the many beautiful trails through the city. Check out the back yard view of some lucky residents who see conors, eagles, plenty of bunnies, as well as coyotoes and...well unfortuanately rattle snakes too.
In the Spring, our city hires a real live sheep hearder, and his flock of sheep that travel over the hills cutting down our grass! An incredible site- this year they were right at my back fence while I enjoyed my breakfast. I waved to the well liked shepard and enjoyed a sight you might well see in Scotland!
Hungry? New building of retail stores and restuarants are everywhere. Stop off at Borders for some Starbucks, go to Black Angus, Applebees, Mimis, Chillis, the list goes on. Fast food is available for those busy lunch times as well.
