You have to drive every where. The City of Ione has very limited conveniences. It takes 55 minutes to get to major cities like, Sacramento, Folsom, Stockton. Almost everyone drives like a bat out of hell on the two lane country roads. It takes at least 20 minutes to get to Jackson/Martell where there are some Mom and Pop stores and grocery stores.
