With a population that is 90.37% white, 0.84% black, 4.48% asian, 0.24% native american, and 4.07% 'Other', I would hardly claim that Larkspur is diverse!

We really like the area in and around Larkspur, including San Anselmo and Fairfax. In particular, there is access to spectacular open spaces for hiking, biking, etc. right on our doorstep. Great little towns, shops and restaurants, and local events. However, property is extremely expensive and property taxes very high. Congestion is increasingly an issue, particularly around 101 heading into San Francisco and north to wine country.
