Awesome small town life! - 4/23/2018
We moved here over 2 yrs ago after living in neighboring cities of Roseville and Rocklin. Loomis is perfect small town living with awesome amenities in the neighboring towns (Super Walmart, Bass Pro, TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Sbux, Target, etc. etc.) There's a major mall only about 10 min's away via fwy. That being said the joy of this small town life is that it's safe (Sherrif's station down the street), there's a sense of pride and community, you can walk to downtown if you live West of the 80 fwy and the schools are top notch. In fact, Del Oro High School has an API of 10 with college prep courses, a small working farm and horticulture center for FFA student, excellent drama club, many clubs to join and amazing year round sports program esp the Eagles football team (always seem to make it to playoffs!)
