I live here for the pass 4 years and in these years I lived in a fifth wheeler I owned a RV motor home but my dreams of selling it went out the window on the4 morning of Aug. 16th 20013, when the girl and guy who was to buy it broke into my 5th wheeler when I was out and stole the spare keys my title a DVD player a small TV and my birth certificate and I was at he hospital and when I got home was told by her my dog broke the screen out I trusted her and believed her because these things she took were located in a room I did not use I never noticed it till after she was gone and I went to get the title out and seen it gone along with a ring with the keys to the motor home and other things she took and this all took place at 6:30 am on the morning of Aug. 16 th, 2013, on that morning I lost all trust in the CA laws. Housing and Population in Madera, Ca. - 4/11/2009
I live in Madera, Ca. and it has been listed in Sperling's BestPlaces as having a home medium price of $315,000 and a population of approx. 35,000. As an update to this, the current medium price is well below that figure now at approx. $225,000. I just looked at an older 2 bdrm, 2 bath house with a small 1 bdrm studio rental in back for $65,000. New housing tracts are offering new 3 bdrm, 2.5 baths for $165,000. The population was 35,000 in 1967 when I graduated from high school. The highway signs when entering Madera say the population is approx. 52,000, this figure fluctuating some with the large migrant worker population since Madera is located in the San Joaquin Valley agricultural one of the agricutural centers of the state. Weather can be very hot in summer with bearable cold winters. Most everyone shops in Fresno 20 minutes south and there are no chain restaurants except Denny's and Ihop. Again Fresno being our go to place for shopping and Read More
