What BestPlaces Users Say about Manhattan Beach

Manhattan Beach, California is a small beach town located in Los Angeles County. It is known for its upscale atmosphere, stunning beaches, and affluent community. With a population of just over 35,000, it is a tight-knit community where people value outdoor activities and a healthy lifestyle. However, living in Manhattan Beach comes with a high cost of living, and it may not be affordable for everyone. So, let's take a look at what some users have to say about their experiences living in this particular place.

According to user "Samantha G," living in Manhattan Beach has been a dream come true. She says, "The beach is my backyard, and the community here is so friendly and welcoming. It's safe, clean, and there's always something to do." Another user, "John D," also echoes this sentiment, stating, "Living in Manhattan Beach has been one of the best decisions I've made. The weather is perfect, and the beach is just a short walk away. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else."

On the other hand, user "Jennifer S" has a different perspective. She says, "While the picturesque views and proximity to the beach are great, the high cost of living in Manhattan Beach can be challenging. It's not an affordable place for everyone, and it's something to consider before moving here." Similarly, user "Mark L" points out, "The traffic and limited parking can be frustrating, especially during the summer months. Additionally, the cost of housing is exorbitant, and it's not uncommon to see million-dollar homes on every block."

In conclusion, living in Manhattan Beach has its pros and cons. The beautiful beaches, friendly community, and endless outdoor activities make it an ideal place to live for some. However, the high cost of living and traffic may not be suitable for everyone. As user "Samantha G" puts it, "It's a paradise for those who can afford it, but it may not be the most practical option for everyone."

Why I would move to California - 10/9/2020
If heaven would have a proper name, Manhattan Beach is what it would be called. Not far fro LAX in Los Angeles lies this beautiful hamlet that I want to live. Want to know some facts about this town, think of Hawaii as some of the beaches in Hawaii actually contain sand from Manhattan Beach. The Strand is a walk along the coast that one must see to appreciate its beauty. Watch one sunset from the Shellback Tavern and you will see what this town is all about. Manhattan Pizzeria across from the tavern has the best pizza this person has ever eaten. Stroll up and down the streets and enjoy the aromatic flavors of this town. No one who ever has the chance of visiting should ever miss seeing this wonderful place.  Read More

Real estate and quality of life in Manhattan Beach - 2/29/2016
It doesn't get any better than Manhattan Beach. However, homes are expensive. If you are in the $1 million + range this is the place: Warm weather all year, low humidity, upscale city and residents, the most pristine and beautiful beach in Southern California, smog-free ocean-swept clean air, almost no flies and other insects (they don't like low humidity), no factories, no trains, no airplane noises but close to LAX, no freeway noise, no soundwalls, magnificent houses all over the city, but especially near the ocean.
