Why so high? - 5/3/2013
Yes, homes are over price but there is a reason, low inventory. Those that live here for a few years realize we have a quiet town, easy shopping with 3 large shopping plazas, freeway close (605, 5 & 60) & great parks with super sports programs. Great Sheriff & Fire Departments. With Whittier to the west it has Whittier College & Rio Hondo College, 2 large shopping plazas, Downtown Whittier & Montebello to the west with Beverly Hospital, Costco, the Mall & Downtown center. 4 golf courses, Frys, San Gabriel Bikeway south all the way to Long Beach & north to Whittier Narrows, and horse trails along both Rio Hondo & San Gabriel Rivers within 15 minutes or less. Soon, we get a new library & train overpasses making commuting even easier. The Goldline is 15 minutes away to the west at Atlantic & Via Campo.
