Nice touristy town by the beach. - 3/11/2021
It's a nice town to visit - although very touristy. Clean air - and nice sand dunes nearby. A variety of housing - but expensive. Good for seafood. I would say that Jose and Irma from Fresno would like this place - but Hans and Sandeep from Mountain View, CA may consider it a bit too downscale. Read More

Update after living here for 5 years - 10/7/2016
It's still challenging to find a good job: Diablo Canyon Nuclear plant has announced it will be closing in 9 years, so many 6-figure incomes will be going along with the closure. Recommend you already have an independent income or a good position lined up before coming to live here. Otherwise, only jobs are in service Read More
