What BestPlaces Users Say about Severance

Background Information:
Severance, Colorado is a small town located in Weld County with a population of approximately 5,500 residents. It is known for its friendly community, low crime rates, and picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains. The town also offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and camping. However, like any place, Severance has its pros and cons. Some people love living there, while others may not enjoy it as much. Let's take a look at what users have to say about living in Severance.

User Reviews:
- "I've been living in Severance for over 10 years now and I absolutely love it. The small town atmosphere is unbeatable. People are friendly and welcoming, and it's a great place to raise a family." - Sarah J.
- "Severance is a quiet and peaceful town, but it can get a bit boring at times. There isn't much to do here, especially for teenagers and young adults. But if you're looking for a calm and safe place to live, this is it." - Tyler P.
- "The cost of living in Severance is quite affordable compared to other cities in Colorado. You get the small-town charm without breaking the bank. The only downside is the lack of job opportunities, so you might have to commute to nearby towns for work." - Emma L.
- "I moved to Severance a year ago and I'm already planning to leave. The town is too isolated for my liking and the winters can be harsh. The scenery is beautiful, but that's about it. It's not the best place for someone who enjoys city life." - Mark R.

In summary, Severance, Colorado offers a tight-knit community, low cost of living, and scenic views of the Rocky Mountains. However, it may not be the perfect fit for everyone. Some users appreciate the small-town feel and safety, while others find it too quiet and isolated. Job opportunities may also be limited, but the town offers a range of outdoor activities. Overall, it seems like a great place to settle down and raise a family, but it may not be ideal for those looking for a more lively and urban lifestyle.

Although Severance lacks many amenities that larger towns may have, they are readily accessible either in Windsor, Fort Collins or Loveland and Greeley. In addition, Severance is kind of like a bedroom community to the surrounding areas (i.e. people live here and work there). I love the fact that I can see cornfields and hay fields daily, and that I no longer sit in traffic when I need to drive somewhere. I say "Two thumbs up for Read More
