Boulder's reputation as having one of the best schools in the world(#11), and being several times rated as the #1 Party school, gives an awful lot of irony and possibly a reason for the problems with Boulder Police and how the Police are viewed by the community. Boulder Police and Sheriff Dept. have been riled on by numerous articles and protest, as well as lawsuits, due to there "corrupt" system.
