Living in a Dog Kennel - 4/2/2012
Julesburg is like many small towns, if your great granny didn't grow up there and date your first great uncle, then you will never quite fit in. Secondly, there are more dogs than people. The mayor must sleep with the dogs owners because there is a dog ordinance but zero enforcement. Dogs bark 24/7/365. Another ordinance that goes on ignored is the junk in the yard. Some of the yards literally look like junk yards. There is one fellow in particular that buys up all the junk homes and then turns them into his personal junk yards; quite unsightly and unsafe for the children. Julesburg high school is racist and god forbid anyone new try to make the school a better place, because its tyrant admin will stop that in an instant.

Good 'ol boy politics rule the city, county and sheriff's dept. They all drink and drive, so if you don't mind having one of your loved ones killed by one of these idiots, then its a great place to live.
