Been here about 1 1/2 years. Climate is great, lots of snow in winter, mild summers but still hits triple digits though:/ Work is hard to come by unless you are in the oil and gas, fracking business which I had to take work in after what I came here for (construction) didnt pan out. Lots of oil field people here. Cops here are terrible, watch your speed.

Beautiful Place! But Expensive! - 1/19/2008
New Castle is a small town outside of Glenwood Springs. We have beautiful weather, gorgeous mountains but it is very expensive to live here... I think the cost of living is somewhere around 50% over the nation average. Also the schools are becoming over crowded because of so much growth. Finding Daycar eis a problems too.
