Snail's Pace - 3/5/2012
Having resided in areas(central Jersey, Philadelphia suburb, Las Vegas, Boston MA) where breakneck speed is the method to survival, I quickly welcomed the snail's pace to existence in NE Connecticut! My home is actually very near to town center, but I'm surrounded by trees and wildlife! Solitude and deafening quiet!
A severe traffic jam consists of a small funeral procession parked at curbside on the main street. It may actually take one 2 minutes to pass by!
This area is known as "Connecticut's Quiet Corner" for a reason! Just like relatives at your home, we encourage visitors, but try not to outstay your welcome! Just kidding, however visitors soon recognize "the Quiet Corner" for what it is.

A great place to live! - 8/16/2009
I lived in Danielson up until I was 18 and then moved back there a few times. I've always felt safe there, knew the local merchants and had a pretty good childhood there. I personally hated school, but it was still a good school and looking back, I feel very blessed to have gone to KHS. I talk to people now about their schools that they went to and I have to say, I was lucky. If you have a chance to move there, enjoy it. I miss it

I lived in Danielson off and on for about 10 years. I went to High school there and also have family that still live there. I just want to say I think Danielson is a very good place to live. I have been in Los Angeles for the last 35 years and I think of Danielson
