What BestPlaces Users Say about Largo

Largo, Florida is a city located in Pinellas County with a population of approximately 85,000 residents. It is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. However, like any city, Largo has its share of pros and cons that may influence one's decision to live there.

According to user reviews on BestPlaces.net, Largo is generally praised for its warm weather, friendly community, and affordable cost of living. Many reviewers also mention the city's close proximity to beaches and Tampa Bay, as well as its diverse dining options and cultural events. However, some reviewers express concerns about traffic congestion, crime rates, and lack of diversity in the city. Overall, Largo seems to be a desirable place to live for those seeking an active and laid-back lifestyle in sunny Florida.

Cynthia J. shares, "Largo is a great place to live if you love warm weather and outdoor activities. The community is very welcoming and there's always something fun to do, whether it's going to the beach or attending a festival. The cost of living is also very reasonable compared to other cities in Florida."

On the other hand, John H. writes, "I've lived in Largo for 10 years and while I enjoy the weather and access to the beach, the traffic can be a nightmare. Rush hour can be brutal and it's only getting worse as the city continues to grow. I also wish there was more diversity in the community."

In a more positive review, Maria R. states, "I moved to Largo a few years ago and I absolutely love it. The people are so friendly and there's a real sense of community here. The dining scene is a mix of chain restaurants and independent gems, so there's always something new to try."

However, Sarah P. has a different experience and shares, "I've lived in Largo my whole life and it's become increasingly unsafe in recent years. There have been several incidents of crime in my neighborhood and it's definitely made me reconsider raising a family here."

not a bad place to live - 5/25/2007
Largo is a nice kept city by the beach and between clearwater and st pete, commuting to tampa forget it with the traffic. this area is also getting more expensive , jobs market is low paying even the large companys like first advantage and tech data pay nothing for the increasing cost of living and lots of telemarketing jobs here, real big in telemarketing, debt management and outbound sales, traffic is the typical florida city traffic patterns, tough at rush hour and a lot of older drivers. Not to bad here if you got money here , if not like most places in florida u wont make Read More
