Miami Lakes, FL is a vibrant city located in the Northeastern part of Miami-Dade County. It is known for its beautiful parks, golf courses, and picturesque lakes. The city also features the renowned Miami Lakes Golf & Country Club as well as a variety of shops and restaurants along Main Street. Residents of Miami Lakes have access to excellent public schools, plenty of recreational activities, and many opportunities for employment.
The reviews for Miami Lakes are overwhelmingly positive. Most people who visit or live in the area praise its natural beauty, friendly atmosphere, and great sense of community. Many people also note how safe and secure it is due to its low crime rate and quality police force. People also appreciate the large number of recreational activities available as well as its close proximity to major attractions in Miami such as South Beach and Biscayne Bay. Miami Lakes is a quiet, friendly community in Northern Miami-Dade County, Florida. The town incorporated in 2000, and became Miami-Dade's 31st municipality. There are 23 small lakes within its borders, giving the town its name.

VERY GLAD TO CALL MIAMI LAKES HOME!!!! - 3/16/2007
Miami Lakes is a great place to raise a family. It is a VERY safe neighborhood. It does not really matter if you leave your window open all night just for fresh air. Miami Lakes has a town center called Main Street. Lots of shopping, a french cafe. And all sorts of different types of restaurants. Mostly everyone is very friendly and cheerful. The community features winding tree-shaded streets, and numerous curving lakes which are unusual compared to most surrounding areas with treeless streets on a square grid and rectangular lakes.
