What BestPlaces Users Say about Pembroke Pines

Pembroke Pines, Florida is a highly sought-after city located in Broward County. The city boasts a population of over 170,000 residents and is known for its beautiful neighborhoods, excellent schools, and diverse community. With its convenient location near major highways and popular destinations, Pembroke Pines offers a high quality of life for its residents. However, to get a better understanding of what it's like to live in this city, let's take a look at what some users have to say about their experiences living in Pembroke Pines.

According to Sarah W., who has lived in Pembroke Pines for several years, "This city has everything you could want - great schools, safe neighborhoods, and plenty of parks and recreational activities. The only downside is the traffic during rush hour, but that's pretty much unavoidable in South Florida." Similarly, John D. states, "I've lived in Pembroke Pines for over 20 years and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. The sense of community here is amazing and there's always something to do. Plus, the weather is unbeatable!"

On the other hand, not all reviews are positive. Maria R. mentions, "While I do appreciate the safety and amenities in Pembroke Pines, the cost of living is quite high. It's difficult to find affordable housing, especially for families. I wish there were more options for affordable living here." Another user, Mark T., adds, "I've lived in Pembroke Pines for a few years now and I have to say, I'm not impressed. The schools are great, but the traffic and overcrowding is a major turn off. It's becoming too congested and I'm considering moving to a quieter area."

Overall, it seems that most residents of Pembroke Pines are quite happy with their decision to live in this city. The sense of community, great schools, and convenient location are some of the main draws for people to settle down here. However, the high cost of living and traffic are some common complaints. Ultimately, it's important for individuals to weigh the pros and cons and decide if Pembroke Pines is the right fit for their lifestyle.

More than planned growth - 9/6/2006
Moved to Pembroke Pines in 1994 and made it my home. It was a beautiful little town with affordable houses back then. This little town grew like nothing anyone ever imagine. Not many jobs opportunities, jobs are either in or close to Miami or Ft Lauderdale. Housing, insurance and taxes are very high. But it is a great place to live, my kids grew in a very nice and diversified environment I made it my home and have no Read More
