A haven on the bay - 9/26/2023
I lived in my beloved Safety Harbor in the early 90's when I was just at the start of my career. I relocated from Illinois and so enjoyed life there. I walked Philippe Park every day and would go down past the Safety Harbor Spa and Resort to the dock to see the manatees. Summers were stifling hot and humid, but otherwise the weather was pretty great. Back then, SF was a tiny haven - not well known. Now, it's grown into a destination of sorts. But it's still quaint. I visit every couple of years and wish I lived there now.

This place is an incredible safe haven just like t - 4/14/2016
I've lived across the entire US, Fort Lauderdale and Palm beach for nearly two decades, Tampa for three years, Dallas, Tulsa, been to New York, Naples, Fort Myers, Orlando, Los Angeles, Seattle you get the point, but I recently moved to Safety Harbor two months ago in 2016 and this place is amazing, it's quaint, safe and family friendly, this is the perfect place to get away for families and anyone who wants to visit Florida but doesn't want the hustle and bustle feel of places like Miami, even though I don't plan on living here for very long I think I will definitely visit quite often. This place still has that safe 90s feel with ice cream trucks and little kids playing outside without a care in the world, I love this place, I highly recommend it to tourists and anyone in other parts of Tampa I lived in Hillsborough for 3 years and I only wish I had spent those three years in Safety Harbor instead. Highly recommend this city/village.

Love Life in Safety Harbor - 9/27/2009
I highly recommend Safety Harbor to anyone considering the Tampa/St Pete area. We have lived here for 6 years, and now face a potential move. I am considering a signficant cut in pay to remain in SH and enjoy the quality of life here.
We enjoy the small town feel within the larger metro area. If you are a "family first" kind of person, looking for a community spirit vs suburban sprawl, then make sure to have Safety Harbor on your short list of areas in which to
