With its numerous attractions and amenities, Temple Terrace is a great place to enjoy the sights and sounds of Florida.
Reviews of Temple Terrace are generally positive with many visitors pointing out that it is a clean and wonderful city with plenty to do for everyone. The numerous parks in the area offer beautiful views of the Hillsborough River which can make for a wonderful day out. Visitors also report that there is good shopping in Temple Terrace with lots of local boutiques offering unique items as well as big-name stores in the area such as Walmart and Target. In addition, there are plenty of good restaurants offering delicious food from a wide variety of cuisines. A different place to live. - 4/20/2010
I have now lived in Temple Terrace for 4 years. Its a strange place to live in that the town is divided. One side of 56th st is very nice and upscale (pricey-pricey), and the other side is low-income living, much higher crime rate. The city is revamping its image to be the next Westchase, with many quaint shops and dining. The river is gorgeous and the the schools are pretty good. There are several upscale public parks (on the nice side of the street)that have recently gone in.
