Hardee County consisting of Wauchula, Zolfo Springs, Bowling Green and Ona have some of the nicest and caring people of any other county!! The surrounding area is beautiful with nature and wildlife galore. Those who live here know that you can't much better than Hardee County folks. I used to live here. Wauchula is the worst place God created. If the universe has an anal sphincter, this is where it’s located. Avoid living or working in this place at all costs. Don't even stop for gas.
