Morriston, Florida - 7/18/2006
I actually live in Morriston, Florida which is about 10 miles from Williston. Morriston is considered rural and has alot of acreage. This is considered "horse country" with a variety of horse farms from 5 acres to 100 acres. It is very quiet and peaceful yet a 25 minute drive can put you in the center of Ocala or Gainesville(depending which direction you drive). It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It is a great place to raise young children but teenagers might get bored if they are not into horses and country living. Moved here 4 years ago and have seen land value go up tremendously.
